Silence of the Beach Megan Napier
One of my most favorite outdoor experiences is when I am at the beach in Hatteras, NC. Every year my family and I go to Hatteras for vacation. I enjoy going to the beach every day and laying out in the sand. But my most foundest memory of the beach is when I go out on the beach at night alone. Since Hatteras is more of a secluded beach it is easier to get away from all of the tourist. I have one certain spot that is about a mile away from the house that we stay at. I go there a while after dark, when the stars are high and most people have retreated back to their houses. This is my get a way to just think, and get my thoughts clear.
