Landscapes of the Sacred 3 Megan Napier

Sacred landscapes as "storied place"

When people experience unexplainable things, they some how have to put it in to words for them to almost believe it. They must speak of it and describe what happened. Many times humans can't put their feelings into words, so they tell them through stories. They explain where they were and the geographical surroundings. With each story they capture other people's imagination, and it seems to build their experience.
