I really like the qoute in Making Nature Sacred when Lane is speaking about Anne Bradstreet when shes speaking about watching the dying hour of the dying season. I particularly like "...the peculiar paradox of human existence. Humans are creatures destined by nautre for death but drawn by the spirit toward eternal life". It really speaks to me especially in light of the recent shooting at V-Tech. A girl who went to middle school and high school wth me and played in band with me was one of the victims and I just really like how the last part says that people are drawn by their spirits towards eternal life. We are all going to die however if you choose to believe that their is life after death no ever really dies.
