Paradox of Being Present to Place- Anna Hubacher

"One can be there and yet not be there at the same time"
I liked this qoute in Landscapes of the Sacred because it makes me think about when you are listening to someone speak and yet your hearing the words but your really not listening. Or another example is when your reading something and you are reading each word, but not really reading the entire sentence or paragraph. To me this is what its like if you are in nature but not experiencing it, your seeing it but not as a whole your not getting the full picture.
