Sacred Place Chooses - Zachary Brackett

From Lane's text we have learned that "sacred place is not chosen, it chooses". As we read this short excerpt and reflect upon it the question arises of how does sacred place choose to whom it will reveal itself? I believe that as God is in His creation he reveals Himself through it, and this revelation is opened to everyone. If this revelation is open to everyone then how come God does not reveal Himself and His glory to everyone through nature, I believe the answer to this is we do not let him. Though "sacred place is not chosen, it chooses" if we have so much blocking our minds that we are not able to stop and listen then we are preventing God from revealing himself to us through the landscapes around us which He has created. Thus, we must take time to clear our minds and allow God to reveal himself, allow sacred place to choose.
