Where Is God - Zach Brackett
On page 253 of Belden Lane's book "Landscapes of the Sacred" he says: "Change of place does not guarantee one's drawing nearer to God. Wherever you find yourself, that is where God will come to you." Often we as humans search long and heard for God only to come up empty handed, the thing we must realize is that God is omnipresent (I Kings 8:27) meaning that He is present at all times in all places. If God has the ability to be always present in all places then we do not have to search for God as He is everywhere and desires deeply to be with us if we will only open up to Him. As Lane says "wherever you find yourself, that is where God will come to you", meaning that if we call to God He will come and be with us.
